Residents give U.S. 50 input at meeting

Salida residents gave input on the future of the U.S. 50 corridor at a workshop Wednesday at Salida SteamPlant as part of the Future 50: Re-Vision Rainbow Boulevard project, “We’re having some really important and constructive conversations about the highway,” Mayor P.T. Wood said.

Wood mentioned increasing business and sales tax revenue along U.S. 50.

“We want people to slow down, to stop, to get out of their cars and spend money in Salida,” Wood said. [more]
